yes its been a while since my last post but this month always seems to fly by in an instant with all those holidays.
but I have been spending my time reading books and web site’s about various programming styles people use and which would work best in my case the reason I spent a lot of time in this is because I wanted to see if I could find any kind of similarity between it all and I came to the conclusion there is.

the reason its been a bit quiet on my blog lately is because off my latest "toy" that came in the make controller kit. This thing is pretty fun it allows you to basically control anything that is electronic.
its also works with actionscript which is why I bought it, your want to know more about the board and my experience with it so far hit the jump

proudly to present my new blog layout that has gone live today.
during the week there will be minor tweaks towards it. like the adding of new pages, etc.
a new logo is also in the works which should be up soon hopefully.
hope you all like the new layout of the site
I am currently in the progress of making a new layout for my website, the overall look is pretty much sketched up.
now I have to convert it to a workable template and later on adding details like subtle effects and my new logo.
the colour scheme was inspired by the design of my independent learning plan.
I am also looking at keeping the content as clear as possible and readable and nicely styled at the same time.
hit the jump for the current sketch layout/mockup

yesterday I set about to making my learning plan into a book form, for my MA in Design.
the results of that gave some interesting results by themselves I decided to print my contents on nice terrorized off white looking paper.
when tried to print it with a copier it gave a old grungy look to it as the copier didn’t quit like the texture of the paper and thus the print out was less smooth then on regular paper
and also there where nice scattered dots of inks over the paper. at first when I saw it is was like mhmm.. but then I thought it looked cool and added to the nice book feeling.
the thick cardboard cover was amazingly hard to cut it seemed to eat my blade away as it became very dull.
but still I managed to get it cut (a set of blades later that is).
picture’s after the jump, around next week ill have a post up about how to make a little book
