i thought it might be use full for other people , that i share some of my code in quick and simple examples so here is my first one.
they might not always be the best solution but hey it gets the job done for me so might as well share it with you guys. my first post in this area is to use a slider to get a object from one area to another. this is just a basic calculation and works for anything where your have to scrub from one value to another.

but I have been spending my time reading books and web site’s about various programming styles people use and which would work best in my case the reason I spent a lot of time in this is because I wanted to see if I could find any kind of similarity between it all and I came to the conclusion there is.
the reason its been a bit quiet on my blog lately is because off my latest "toy" that came in the make controller kit. This thing is pretty fun it allows you to basically control anything that is electronic.
its also works with actionscript which is why I bought it, your want to know more about the board and my experience with it so far hit the jump
I ran into something interesting today as I was looking on the interwebs. a technique called seam carving, which is a algorithm that resizes and crops in a intelligent way.
it looks at which parts in the image are important and which parts contain less useful information and it scales(removes) that part of the image while preserving the important parts.
